Personal Finance Management

Personal Finance Management, a financial wellness program supported by the California Credit Union League (CCUL), covers budgeting and cash flow management; credit, debt, and credit reports; and saving, investing and retirement planning.

  • Additional topics include tips on monitoring and correcting inaccurate data in credit reports, reducing debt, surviving financial set backs, FACT act benefits and much more.
  • Workshops and quizzes correspond with each section of the book.
  • Content is easy to read and concise with numerous charts, graphs and tables.
  • Available in English and Spanish.

Financial Firsts

Designed for young adults, ages 15-21, the Financial Firsts program prepares our youth with the skills they need to live successfully on their own, and can help them avoid falling into financial straights during a typically vulnerable time.

  • Interactive and fun workshops correspond with each section of the book.
  • The 10-hour curriculum covers: First job, First checking account, First car, First credit card and First home-away-from-home.
  • Money management skill development is not usually taught in high schools or college.
  • Content is visually appealing to engage young adults and enhance learning.
  • Great educational tool for parents to give their high school and college kids.

Identity Theft Resolution Guide

Identify theft, if left unchecked, can impact credit ratings, lower credit scores, limit the victim's ability to get a loan, have tax consequences, trigger collections and more.

  • Contains information, instructions, contacts, websites, sample letters, checklists, action steps and the forms required to dispute and resolve most identity theft problems.
  • Provides greater awareness of identity theft and a sense of control over confidential information.
  • Includes step-by-step instructions on how to limit your risk of becoming a victim of identity theft.
  • Corresponding workshops are available in 1 and 2 hour sessions.
