A $5 one-time membership fee and a $25 deposit is required to open a savings account, which makes you a member of SCU. *The $50 referral incentive is limited to five per member and paid for new member referrals only. The referring member must be a member of Sacramento Credit Union for at least 30 days and have an open Sacramento Credit Union checking account at time of the referral. The referral incentive is posted to Sacramento Credit Union Savings Account on the last day of the month following 60 days of the referred account opening. The referred member must open a Sacramento Credit Union checking account to be qualified for this promotion and the $50 incentive. Use of the Refer-A-Friend form expresses the referring member’s and the referred member’s participation in the Refer-A-Friend program. The referral incentive is considered interest and new (referred) members will receive an IRS 1099-INT form on the $50 deposited to the new account.
