Youth Savings

Smart saving habits start early. Children and teens can become SCU members by opening this account, which helps them grow their savings steadily. Youth Savings Accounts are available for eligible members up to 18 years old. Click here to check rates.  

  • Birth certificate and Social Security card required for those under 13
  • Parent or legal guardian must be a joint owner
  • Minors over age 13 must provide a Social Security card along with one of the following items:

    • School ID

    • Government ID, including US Passport

    • Driver's license
